We all have our own understanding of what research means, from the stuffy library shelves of yesteryear, to the full-blown and increasingly ubiquitous quantitative surveys of major brands - not forgetting the obscurest of academic enquiries, or the fleeting reviews of competitors' websites.


FSB nevertheless considers research to be an all important tool in helping to determine the appropriate strategy.


Inadequate research is tantamount to trusting in Lady Luck; she may prove right, but why take the risk? Life's risky enough as it is!
